Nicholina Annor-Adjei is a Lawyer, a communications specialist, and the founder of a strategic communications consultancy, Articulate Consult, based in Accra.
A resident of New Zealand for over 17 years, Nicholina returned to Ghana in December 2013 and served as the Head of Legal Services and Corporate Affairs for TV3 Network from 2014 to 2016. There she advised on numerous sponsorship and licensing contracts, established the charitable arm of the network, The 3 Foundation, and was responsible for managing crisis situations for the media group.
Prior to joining TV3, Nicholina worked with the Ministry of Social Development in New Zealand from 2005 to 2016 and served as a Senior Solicitor advising the New Zealand government in the areas of policy and legislative reforms. She led the Ministry's legal team that advised on the policy and legislative reform of the now Vulnerable Children's Act. A passionate advocate of women's rights, her volunteer work with the Wellington Women's Refuge, earned her the 2013 Corporate Lawyers Association of New Zealand (CLANZ) Award for Community Contribution
Nicholina currently works as a lawyer and Practice Manager of N Dowuona & Company, a legal advisory firm that specializes in commercial and corporate law, property and construction law, energy and infrastructure law and banking and finance. Her continual strong ties with New Zealand lead to her recent appointment as the NZ Honorary Consular for Ghana. Nicholina is admitted to practice and a member of both the New Zealand and the Ghana Bar.
